An Australian company, DSPComm has developed the Aquacomm underwater acoustic data modem. The Aquacomm modem provides highly reliable underwater communications at a fraction of the cost of competitive products. Aquacomm modems use the latest Digital Signal Processing technology and are used by defense organizations, research institutions and commercial operators globally. By developing a communication interface between the Aquacomm and Iridium telemetry hardware, Fastwave has enabled near real time transmission of data to and from subsea installations anywhere in the world.

A subsidiary of Trimble, US based Tripod Data Systems develops hardware and software for mobile computing applications. TDS produces rugged handheld computers for extreme outdoor and industrial environments, software for land surveying and construction applications, and GIS systems for field data collection and automation. Fastwave has developed an Iridium based data communication link with the TDS Recon ruggedised PDA.

Australia ’s leading designer and manufacturer of transformer rectifiers used on large scale cathodic protection (CP) systems. ACP and Fastwave have jointly developed a unique online remote monitoring and control solution for CP systems that utilizes Iridium satellite telemetry.

Australian based BIGmate is an automated, remote monitoring and reporting system designed to provide a full audit trail of performance and up-to-date critical information on plant and equipment. Fasstwave and Bigmate have an alliance focused on integrating Bigmate’s heavy equipment diagnostic monitoring capabilities with the Iridium’s global satellite telemetry systems.

Miri Technologies, based in Perth, Western Australia, specialises in the provision of telemetry and control solutions. Miri's products and engineering expertise can provide the infrastructure for all control (remote and local) and data acquisition requirements. Miri offers solutions from simple point to point equipment to complex SCADA systems. Fastwave has integrated Iridium’s satellite telemetry capabilities with Miri Remote Telemetry Units (RTU’s) to provide a global solution for remote field data acquisition and control.

Softrock Solutions Pty Ltd is a West Australian based company specialising in the development of automated robotic systems for the detection of movement in large structures such as open pit walls, dam walls or in fact anywhere that failure movement needs to be measured. Softrock and Fastwave have developed Autosat, an integrated, online solution for slope monitoring in sites where terrestrial communications are unavailable or impractical.

Dilupe of Belgium is a leading manufacturer and distributor of touch screen messaging terminals used in vehicles, trains aircraft and vessels. Fastwave has integrated Iridium satellite telemetry equipment with the Dilupe product range to enable global, 2-way text messaging between mobile fleets and base.

Seattle based Sound Ocean Systems have been designing and building quality marine systems, equipment and components since 1978. The company offers Ocean Observation Systems, and On-Deck, In-Water and Seafloor Equipment. Fastwave and SOSI have established a distribution agreement designed to exploit the complementary nature of Fastwave's satellite communication products and services and the ocean observation systems offered by SOSI.
