Through many years of experience, their core skills in corals and coral reefs have broadened to cover the state of water quality around these reefs.

Sophisticated map products based on multi- to hyperspectral remote sensing data, as well as classification software solutions, comprise EOMAP's core business. Eomap offers customized, large-area mapping based on satellite and airborne imagery with a focus on aquatic remote sensing. EOMAP's services can be applied in environmental monitoring and spatial explorations, in particular for coastal zones, inland waters, wetlands, and other areas where high-precision mapping is required. Eomap's services are used to correlate the in-situ water quality data provided by Fastwave's OceanStar system with satellite imagery.

EOM Offshore is located in Massachusetts, USA, and has a close working relationship with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI). Many of EOM's products were conceived at WHOI, then transferred out for large scale production at EOM in order to meet ever increasing customer need.

EOM specialises in developing stable, reliable mooring platforms for real-time data and communication from subsurface instrumentation. The company has commercialised an innovative and unique whale detection and alerting system, and has formed a commercial partnership with Fastwave to develop opportunities for the system in the Australian region.
