Iridium Satellite Modems

We specialise in integrating instrumentation, sensors and control devices with Iridium satellite transceivers, so that data can be delivered or sent between any locations in the world within seconds.
There are two Iridium satellite modems available, the 9522 B and the 9602.
Both of these offer global, near-real time, 2-way data capability for asset monitoring, control and tracking applications.
The 9522B supports Short Burst Data (SBD) and Circuit Switch Data telemetry systems, as well as Iridium Satellite Voice & SMS services. It is ideal for applications which require connectivity with remote equipment for diagnostic monitoring, reconfiguration and data streaming.
The 9602 Short Burst Data transceiver, released June 2010, replaces the 9601. The 9602 is designed for remote monitoring, control and tracking applications where compact size, low power consumption and low cost are critical considerations.
